As committed Christians, we offer professional and compassionate care to our clients and their families. Christian counseling is offered to individuals, couples and groups who desire to make sense of life challenges. We guide clients in understanding core values of living a victorious Christian life based on biblical and theological concepts and the bible. We work with our clients to design appropiate interventions that match their critical needs as well as expressed wishes.
Counseling is a cooperative venture with responsibility resting on both the counselor and the client. In order to enable you and your counselor to work most effective together, we ask that you carefully read the information below. If you have any questions, your counselor will be happy to discuss them with you.
Confidentiality:
Communications between client and counselor are confidential and will not be revealed unless required by law such as in situations of child abuse or threats of physical harm to self or others or subpoena of a court. Your counselor will discuss confidentiality and its expectations with you. In counseling sessions involving families and couples, confidentiality will not always be possible because the client is in a therapeutic relationship that may involve more than one person. The counselor will exercise her own judgment about what to disclose from an individual session in a marital or family session.
Counseling Fees:
We accept payments online, by check or cash. See details.
Insurance:
Currently, we do not accept insurance for services.
Assessment:
Your counselor may ask you to complete a personality inventory or some other inventory relevant to the counseling process.
Cancellations:
If you must cancel your appointment, please leave a message on your counselor's voicemail at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Your cooperation in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Persons who fail to cancel appointments in advance may not be given another appointment unless there is a documented emergency.
Telephone Calls:
You may leave a message for your counselor 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. When calling, please leave your name and telephone number and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Your counselor will not be available "on call." If you have an emergency, you will need to call 911.
