Premarital and Relationship Counseling is offered to support couples that are planning to get married. The date of the wedding does not have to be set. This counseling is a comprehensive presentation of the roles of a husband and wife in a Christian marital relationship. It includes the core values of a marriage based on biblical and theological principles. It is designed to match the critical needs and expressed wishes of each couple. Marriage questionnaires, inventories and homework assignments are tools used to uncover and explore a large variety of topics on marriage. Participants must make a commitment to meet between 8 to 10 sessions (depending on the level of spiritual maturity, challenges, and life experiences of each couple).
Couples should reserve two to four months prior to the marriage to ensure that adequate time is allotted to cover all the facets of marriage. The initial session is a comprehensive Marriage Questionnaire-Inventory that requires up to 120 minutes to complete. Subsequent sessions are a maximum of 90 minutes.
Fees
Premarital Sessions
The fee for Pre-marital Counseling sessions is $600.00. There will be individual sessions with the prospective groom and bride, after they have had a completed a physical examination with their private physician. The couple will each receive a workbook, exercises, videotapes, audiotapes, and reading materials to use throughout the counseling period that should be used as a reference guide after the marriage. The fee of $600 may be paid in full (at the first session) or in three (3) payments:

¨ At the end of the fourth session $200.00
¨ At the end of the last session $200.00
Marriage Ceremonies
Normally, the wedding ceremony is $200, providing the couple has completed our Premarital Program. The cost is higher for couples who have completed a minimum of five sessions with their pastor.
